BMS-986453 is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to simultaneously target and bind to tumor cells expressing B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and/or G protein-coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D). By targeting both BCMA and GPRC5D, the therapy induces selective toxicity in multiple myeloma cells that express either or both antigens. It is being developed for the treatment of relapsed and/or refractory multiple myeloma. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials[1][2][4][7].
