**BMSCs-MVs** (Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell-derived Microvesicles) are membrane-bound extracellular vesicles released by bone marrow mesenchymal stromal cells. These microvesicles carry bioactive molecules including proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids from their parent BMSCs. They demonstrate **therapeutic potential** through multiple mechanisms including **immunomodulatory effects**, **anti-cancer activity**, and **regenerative properties**. The microvesicles retain many of the beneficial properties of their parent BMSCs while offering advantages such as lower immunogenicity and easier storage. Research shows they can reduce cancer cell viability, induce apoptosis in malignant cells, and modulate immune responses. They typically measure around 410 nm in diameter and can be isolated through ultracentrifugation methods.
