Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BMTP-11 is a tumor-targeting peptidomimetic drug designed to target the interleukin-11 receptor alpha (IL-11Rα). It consists of a functional IL-11Rα-binding peptide (CGRRAGGSC) fused to an apoptosis-inducing peptidomimetic D(KLAKLAK)2. This design enables selective targeting of cancer cells expressing IL-11Rα, inducing apoptosis in these cells. BMTP-11 has shown efficacy in preclinical models of osteosarcoma and prostate cancer with bone metastases, demonstrating ability to inhibit tumor growth and reduce metastatic spread.
