BNP7787 + cisplatin + paclitaxel is a combination therapy consisting of a chemoprotective agent (BNP7787) with two chemotherapeutic drugs (cisplatin and paclitaxel). BNP7787 (also known as Tavocept or dimesna) is designed to prevent and mitigate toxicities associated with platinum-based chemotherapeutics and taxanes, particularly neurotoxicity and nephrotoxicity. The combination is primarily studied for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
