Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**BNT114** is an investigational mRNA-based cancer vaccine developed by BioNTech SE as part of its FixVac platform, encoding a fixed combination of shared tumor-associated antigens tailored for triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). It employs uridine mRNA-lipoplex formulation for intravenous delivery to stimulate robust CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell responses against patient-specific tumor antigens, aiming to induce anti-tumor immunity. The vaccine was evaluated in a completed Phase 1 first-in-human trial (NCT02316457, TNBC-MERIT) combining it with IVAC_M_uID for individualized neoantigen therapy in patients with TNBC, demonstrating safety and immunogenicity without dose-limiting toxicities.
