Overview

**BNT162b7 Bivalent** is an investigational BioNTech RNA-based COVID-19 booster vaccine candidate evaluated with Pfizer in the C4591044 clinical study. It is a bivalent SARS-CoV-2 vaccine designed to encode spike antigens from the original SARS-CoV-2 strain and the Omicron BA.4/BA.5 sublineages, with the objective of broadening immune responses against circulating Omicron-related variants. The candidate was administered as a single 30 microgram booster dose in adults previously vaccinated with an authorized mRNA COVID-19 vaccine.
