BNT3214 (also known as PM8102) is an investigational monoclonal antibody targeting B7-H3 (CD276), a transmembrane glycoprotein and immune checkpoint protein that is overexpressed in a variety of solid tumors. B7-H3 plays a significant role in tumor immune evasion by inhibiting T-cell activation and proliferation, and its expression is often correlated with poor clinical prognosis and advanced disease stages. BNT3214 is designed to specifically bind to B7-H3, thereby blocking its inhibitory signaling and restoring the anti-tumor activity of the immune system. Developed by BioNTech in collaboration with Biotheus, the drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for patients with advanced, recurrent, or metastatic solid tumors to determine its safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary therapeutic efficacy.
