Overview

BNT327 + docetaxel is an investigational combination therapy comprising **BNT327**, a bispecific antibody targeting PD-L1 and VEGF-A, and **docetaxel**, a standard chemotherapeutic agent. BNT327 acts by inhibiting PD-L1, which restores cytotoxic T cell activity against tumor cells, and by neutralizing VEGF-A, which disrupts tumor angiogenesis and the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. Docetaxel is a microtubule inhibitor widely used for the treatment of solid tumors, especially in lung cancer. The combination is being studied primarily for advanced/metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly in patients who have progressed after prior chemoimmunotherapy[1][5][7]. BNT327 is developed by BioNTech and now co-developed and co-commercialized with Bristol Myers Squibb in a global partnership for multiple solid tumor indications, including NSCLC and small cell lung cancer (SCLC)[6].
