Bodewell Calming Cream

Bodewell Calming Cream is a topical over-the-counter (OTC) skin protectant formulated for the management of atopic dermatitis (eczema). Developed by P&G Ventures, a division of Procter & Gamble, the product is designed to relieve minor skin irritation and itching associated with eczema. Its primary active ingredient is colloidal oatmeal (1%), which acts as a skin protectant by forming a physical barrier and providing anti-inflammatory properties. The formulation also includes a proprietary botanical complex, often referred to as BW24, which is intended to soothe the skin and support the skin barrier. The cream has been evaluated in investigator-initiated clinical trials, including studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, to assess its efficacy and tolerability in adults with mild-to-moderate chronic atopic dermatitis.
