Bonecome

Bonecome is a recombinant peptide biosimilar of teriparatide, currently under development by MiGenTra for the treatment of osteoporosis. As a biosimilar of the human parathyroid hormone (PTH) fragment PTH(1-34), it functions as an anabolic agent by acting as an agonist at the parathyroid hormone 1 receptor (PTH1R). This activation stimulates osteoblast activity and bone formation, leading to increased bone mineral density and improved bone strength. Bonecome is intended to provide a therapeutic option for patients with high fracture risk or those who have failed other osteoporosis treatments. According to company pipeline information, it is in clinical development with a projected clinical project plan date of 2029.
