Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Bonecure** is an investigational locally implanted allogeneic mesenchymal stem-cell therapy for post-fracture bone-consolidation failure, including atrophic pseudoarthrosis of long bones. The product uses pre-differentiated mesenchymal stem cells inoculated into calcium-phosphate supports that are surgically implanted at the fracture lesion; it is intended to promote bone regeneration and consolidation. Specific molecular targets and a discrete receptor-level mechanism have not been disclosed. Bonecure was developed through Histocell's bone-regeneration platform and a licensing and co-development collaboration with Salvat; Salvat currently lists Bonecure as SVT-1001 in its pipeline.
