Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BonoFill is an autologous, tissue-engineered bone graft developed by Bonus BioGroup and its subsidiary Bonus Therapeutics. It is prepared by isolating mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from the patient's own adipose tissue, expanding and professionalizing them ex vivo in a proprietary automated bioreactor system, and seeding them onto a three-dimensional biocompatible and bioactive mineral scaffold. The resulting live bone graft is designed to be tailored to each patient's unique biological, physical, and clinical needs. BonoFill is administered as an implant to promote bone tissue regeneration and has been evaluated in clinical trials for maxillofacial bone defects (such as sinus augmentation and jaw bone void filling) and orthopedic indications (such as critical limb bone defects and extra-articular comminuted fractures).
