Overview
Borraginol PRO (also known as BORRAGINOL® PRO ORAL) is an approved Category 2 over-the-counter (OTC) oral medicine developed by Amato Pharmaceutical Products and manufactured by Zenyaku Kogyo. It is indicated for the treatment of hemorrhoids, including blind piles and bleeding hemorrhoids. Borraginol PRO features a dual blend of Western and Eastern (herbal) medicines, containing melilot extract, otsujito extract (a traditional Kampo herbal formula), and tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E acetate). This combination works synergistically to relieve inflammation, bleeding, pain, and congestion (swelling) associated with hemorrhoids from the inside out.
