Overview

Boryung DTaP-IPV is a combination vaccine developed by Boryung Biopharma for the active immunization of infants and children against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), and poliomyelitis (polio). The vaccine is a biological product containing diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, acellular pertussis antigens derived from *Bordetella pertussis*, and inactivated poliovirus. It functions by inducing protective antibody-mediated immunity against the four target pathogens. Administered via intramuscular injection, it is typically used in a primary vaccination series at 2, 4, and 6 months of age, followed by a booster dose between 4 and 6 years of age. The product is available in a prefilled syringe formulation and is an integral part of the National Immunization Program in South Korea.
