Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Boryung Hepatitis A Vaccine is an inactivated hepatitis A virus vaccine developed by Boryung Pharmaceutical for active immunization against infection with hepatitis A virus. As with other inactivated HepA vaccines, it contains purified, inactivated hepatitis A viral antigen adsorbed onto an aluminum-based adjuvant to enhance immunogenicity, and induces production of protective anti‑hepatitis A antibodies that prevent clinical hepatitis A upon exposure. It is supplied as a 0.5 mL prefilled intramuscular injection, with clinical studies in healthy children evaluating seroconversion rates (anti‑HAV ≥20 mIU/mL) and booster responses after a standard two‑dose schedule.
