Overview
Bosakitug is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), a cytokine known as a master regulator of type 2 (Th2) inflammation. By inhibiting TSLP, bosakitug aims to reduce inflammatory responses associated with diseases such as atopic dermatitis (atopic eczema), asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps. The drug is administered subcutaneously and was developed using Biosion’s H3 antibody platform and SynAb technology. Bosakitug has demonstrated high affinity and potency in neutralizing TSLP in preclinical studies and early clinical trials. It is currently in phase 2 or phase 3 clinical development for several indications[1][3][4][5][6].
