Boscox

Boscox is a 100% natural botanical extract developed as an anticoccidial feed additive for livestock and poultry. Its active ingredients, Terminalia gallic acid and costunolide, are extracted from Chinese herbal medicine. Boscox works by selectively inhibiting dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH), a key enzyme in de novo pyrimidine synthesis and nucleotide metabolism of coccidia. This inhibition disables the coccidia during their endogenous developmental stages, including sporozoite, schizogony, and gametogony. Boscox is used to prevent and treat coccidiosis caused by various Eimeria species (such as E. tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. maxima, and E. brunetti) in chickens, Isospora coccidiosis in swine, and E. stiedai in rabbits. Additionally, it helps reduce necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens and promotes intestinal repair.
