Bosutinib + atezolizumab is a combination of two anticancer agents used in investigational settings for the treatment of certain cancers. Bosutinib is a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets BCR-ABL and Src-family kinases, primarily indicated for Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). It works by inhibiting the activity of these kinases to slow or stop cancer cell growth[6][8][4]. Atezolizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody that acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by binding to programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), thereby preventing its interaction with PD-1 and B7-1. This blockade removes inhibition on T-cells and enhances anti-tumor immune responses[5][2][3]. The combination may be explored in clinical trials for synergistic effects in oncology.
