Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bowen Therapeutics is developing a pipeline of Toll-like receptor (TLR) agonists designed to function as immunotherapies and vaccine components for the treatment of solid tumors and infectious diseases. These agents are engineered to stimulate both innate and adaptive immune responses by activating TLR pathways. The development strategy emphasizes localized delivery methods, including direct intra-tumor injection to elicit anti-tumor immunity within the microenvironment and targeted peritumoral immunization near lymph nodes to enhance systemic immune surveillance. The program is currently in the preclinical stage, targeting a variety of cancers including skin, prostate, breast, thyroid, and cervical cancers, as well as various infectious diseases.
