Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bozatinix is an oral, small molecule multi-kinase inhibitor containing the active pharmaceutical ingredient cabozantinib. Developed and marketed by Laboratorio Varifarma in Argentina, it functions as a tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting several pathways including MET, VEGFR2, AXL, and RET. By inhibiting these kinases, the drug suppresses tumor cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis. Bozatinix is primarily indicated for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and as a monotherapy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in adult patients who have previously received treatment with sorafenib.
