Overview
CBT-145 (bozitinib) is an orally bioavailable, highly selective, and potent small molecule inhibitor of the c-Met (MET) receptor tyrosine kinase. Developed by Apollomics (formerly CBT Pharmaceuticals) in collaboration with Beijing Pearl Biotechnology, the drug is designed to target MET alterations, including MET exon 14 skipping mutations and MET amplifications, which are oncogenic drivers in various cancers. It has demonstrated the ability to cross the blood-brain barrier, making it a candidate for treating primary brain tumors like glioblastoma as well as brain metastases from other solid tumors. Clinical development has focused on MET-altered non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and other advanced solid tumors.
