Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BP-SCIG 20% is a highly concentrated (200 mg/mL) human normal immunoglobulin solution developed by Biopharma Plasma LLC for subcutaneous administration. It is designed as a replacement therapy for patients with primary immunodeficiency (PID) who have deficient or absent antibody production. The product contains at least 95% immunoglobulin G (IgG), with a subclass distribution (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4) that closely mimics that of natural human plasma. By providing exogenous IgG, BP-SCIG 20% restores passive immunity, thereby reducing the frequency and severity of bacterial and viral infections in immunocompromised individuals. It is typically administered at regular intervals to maintain steady-state trough levels of IgG.
