BP1210

BP1210 is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody, specifically an innovative biparatopic antibody, developed by BrightPath Biotherapeutics. It targets T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing-3 (TIM-3), an immune checkpoint receptor. By blocking the interaction of TIM-3 with its ligands, galectin-9 and phosphatidylserine, BP1210 enhances anti-tumor T cell responses and overcomes immune suppression within the tumor microenvironment. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its ability to increase IFNγ+ T cell populations and retard tumor growth, particularly when used in combination with anti-PD-L1 antibodies. BP1210 represents a next-generation immune checkpoint inhibitor following PD-1 and PD-L1 inhibitors, with the potential to enhance the anti-tumor cytotoxic effects of immunotherapy.
