BPB-101 is a first-in-class, trifunctional, humanized IgG1 bispecific antibody developed for cancer immunotherapy. It targets and binds to three key components in the tumor microenvironment: the Glycoprotein A repetitions predominant–transforming growth factor beta complex (GARP-TGF-β complex), active Transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1), and Programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). By simultaneously inhibiting both the TGF-β signaling axis and the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway, BPB-101 relieves dual immunosuppression within tumors, restores immune cell function, and enhances anti-tumor activity. Preclinical studies have shown that BPB-101 can significantly inhibit tumor growth with a favorable safety profile. It is being developed primarily for advanced solid tumors including but not limited to non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, melanoma, endometrial cancer, bladder cancer, bile duct cancer, colorectal cancer and liver cancer[2][3][5][7].
