Overview

BPF-001 is a novel tissue-engineered airway product developed by Videregen Limited. It consists of expanded autologous bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) seeded onto a decellularized allogeneic patch of an airway scaffold. It is being investigated for the treatment of clinically significant bronchopleural fistula. Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSCs) are known to stimulate healing, reduce inflammation, and promote tissue regeneration.
