Overview

BPI-003 is a novel small molecule inhibitor targeting IκB kinase (IKK), a protein kinase involved in the survival of certain tumor cells and the production of cytokines and growth factors that support tumor growth. By inhibiting IKK, BPI-003 disrupts pathways critical for tumor cell survival and proliferation. Preclinical studies have demonstrated promising activity, particularly in animal models of pancreatic cancer. The drug is being developed by BeyondSpring Pharmaceuticals as part of their oncology pipeline[1][2].
