BPI-1831 is a small molecule inhibitor of the c-Met (hepatocyte growth factor receptor) tyrosine kinase, currently in development by Beta Pharma Technologies. It is primarily targeted toward the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), where c-Met dysregulation—such as MET amplification or exon 14 skipping mutations—acts as a significant driver of malignancy and resistance to EGFR-targeted therapies. By selectively inhibiting the c-Met signaling pathway, BPI-1831 aims to suppress tumor cell proliferation, survival, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). As of the latest pipeline updates, the compound was in the IND-enabling stage of development.
