Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BPM31510-Oral is an investigational oral formulation of ubidecarenone (coenzyme Q10) developed as a lipid-drug conjugate nanodispersion. It is designed to deliver supraphysiological concentrations of ubidecarenone to target mitochondrial dysfunction in cancer and rare diseases. The drug works by correcting cancer cell metabolism, reactivating apoptosis, and modulating mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation. This leads to increased production of mitochondrial superoxide and induction of cell death in tumor cells while preserving normal tissue function. BPM31510 has demonstrated potential benefits in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), pancreatic cancer, epidermolysis bullosa (EB), primary CoQ10 deficiency, and other solid tumors[4][5][9][10].
