Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**BR-TD-1001** is an aluminum hydroxide-adsorbed, bivalent tetanus-diphtheria toxoid vaccine developed by Boryung Biopharma for booster immunization against tetanus and diphtheria. Each 0.5 mL dose contains tetanus toxoid and reduced-dose diphtheria toxoid; sodium chloride is included as an isotonic agent and aluminum hydroxide as an adsorbent adjuvant. It induces antigen-specific neutralizing antitoxin responses that protect against the toxin-mediated diseases caused by *Clostridium tetani* and *Corynebacterium diphtheriae*. In completed randomized Phase 3 testing in Korean children aged 10 to 12 years, BR-TD-1001 showed non-inferior immunogenicity to Td-pur and an acceptable safety profile.
