Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BR01T is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Brise Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of chronic low back pain (CLBP). It acts as an antagonist of tropomyosin receptor kinase A (TrkA), selectively inhibiting this target to provide pain relief in both acute and chronic painful states. Unlike traditional opioids or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), BR01T’s mechanism offers optimal analgesia without bone-related side effects such as bone damage. The drug is currently being evaluated in a Phase I clinical trial to assess its safety and tolerability in patients with CLBP[1][2][4][6][8].
