BR4002

BR4002 is an incrementally modified small molecule drug developed by Boryung Pharmaceutical for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. It is classified as an antidementia agent and has been investigated primarily in South Korea. The drug is related to donepezil and has been formulated for transdermal (patch) and oral administration. Its mechanism of action appears to involve acetylcholinesterase inhibition, similar to donepezil, though some sources list its mechanism as undefined or as an "AChR inhibitor."
