Overview

BRC-OA is a cryopreserved, devitalized human adipose tissue allograft developed by Britecyte for the treatment of pain associated with osteoarthritis of the knee. The product is composed of a devitalized human adipose particulate that retains the inherent structural and biochemical properties of native adipose tissue, including the extracellular matrix (ECM) and various signaling molecules. By providing a biological scaffold and potentially modulating the inflammatory environment within the joint, BRC-OA aims to alleviate pain and improve function in patients with mild to severe osteoarthritis. It is administered via intra-articular injection and is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials.
