Overview

BRC-Wound is an investigational, off-the-shelf allogeneic engineered adipose therapy being developed by Britecyte. It consists of processed human adipose-derived stem cells and tissue designed to restore structure and function in chronic ischemic wounds, particularly in patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD). The therapy utilizes Britecyte's proprietary processing technology, which removes immunogenic components to enable allogeneic transplantation while preserving the native tissue architecture, including intact adipocytes and extracellular matrix. This provides a structural scaffold and angiogenic signaling to promote tissue remodeling, vascularization, and wound healing.
