BRD-01

BRD-01 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD30 antigen, developed by Wuhan Boruida Biotechnology. It is primarily investigated for the treatment of relapsed or refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL), a malignancy characterized by the presence of CD30-positive Reed-Sternberg cells. The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically recognizes and binds to CD30, leading to the targeted elimination of lymphoma cells. Clinical development is focused on patients who have exhausted standard treatment options, including brentuximab vedotin and PD-1 checkpoint inhibitors.
