Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BRE-NA01 is an exosome-based cell-free regenerative medicine therapeutic being developed by Brexogen for the treatment of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Utilizing the proprietary BG-Platform, BRE-NA01 consists of therapeutic cargo-controlled exosomes derived from induced pluripotent stem cell-derived mesenchymal stem cells (iPSC-MSCs). These exosomes are engineered to contain specific biomacromolecules optimized to address the underlying pathology of MASH, offering a regenerative approach without the complexities or safety concerns associated with live cell therapies. The drug is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
