Brentuximab vedotin + cyclophosphamide + doxorubicin + prednisone (abbreviated as BV-CHP) is a multi-agent chemotherapy regimen used for the treatment of CD30-positive lymphomas, notably previously untreated systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma (sALCL) in adults and is being evaluated in high-risk classical Hodgkin lymphoma in pediatric and adolescent populations. Brentuximab vedotin is an antibody-drug conjugate that targets CD30, delivering a cytotoxic payload (monomethyl auristatin E) to CD30-expressing cells. Cyclophosphamide is an alkylating agent that crosslinks DNA. Doxorubicin is an anthracycline antibiotic that intercalates DNA and inhibits topoisomerase II. Prednisone is a synthetic glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. Together, this combination is intended to leverage targeted cytotoxicity, broad cytostatic and immunomodulatory action to treat aggressive CD30-positive lymphomas, particularly when standard regimens including vincristine or bleomycin are not used or are substituted[1][2][3].
