Overview
BRII-296 is a novel, long-acting small molecule drug developed by Brii Biosciences for the treatment and prevention of postpartum depression (PPD). It acts as a positive allosteric modulator of the gamma-aminobutyric acid A (GABAA) receptor, enhancing GABAergic neurotransmission in the central nervous system.
