Overview
BRII-778 is a **modified-release oral formulation of rilpivirine** being developed by **Brii Biosciences** as a **once-weekly** treatment for **HIV infection**. The active moiety is rilpivirine, a **small-molecule non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor** that binds the **NNRTI allosteric pocket** on HIV reverse transcriptase and induces conformational changes that inhibit viral reverse transcription.
