Overview

Brinase (also known as brinolase) is a fibrinolytic enzyme and thrombolytic drug derived from the fungus *Aspergillus oryzae*. It acts by breaking down fibrin, a key protein involved in blood clot formation, thereby promoting the dissolution of clots. Brinase has been investigated for use in conditions where thrombolysis (clot breakdown) is desired, such as certain cardiovascular disorders.
