Brinjal peel extract is a herbal preparation derived from the outer skin of the eggplant (Solanum melongena), commonly known as brinjal. The extract is rich in polyphenols, especially anthocyanins such as delphinidin 3-rutinoside (nasunin), chlorogenic acid, and other phenolic acids and flavonoids[1][4][7][9].
