Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Bristrio** is an ophthalmic solution containing **travoprost 0.04 mg/mL**, a prostaglandin analog used as an antiglaucoma agent to reduce intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor through activation of prostaglandin FP receptors on ciliary muscle cells, enhancing uveoscleral outflow. Administered as eye drops (2.5 mL bottle), it is typically dosed once daily in the evening and is available over-the-counter in some regions without requiring a prescription.[3][5]
