Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BRL-302 (BCMA UCAR-T) is an allogeneic, universal chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy developed by BRL Medicine. It is engineered to target B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA, TNFRSF17), which is highly expressed on antibody-producing plasma cells and plasmablasts. Developed using BRL Medicine's proprietary TyUCell® universal cell platform, BRL-302 utilizes multiplex gene editing to enable immune evasion and prevent graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and host-versus-graft (HvG) reactions, allowing off-the-shelf use without requiring deep lymphodepletion. BRL-302 is primarily being developed for the treatment of refractory neurological autoimmune diseases, including neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), multiple sclerosis, and myasthenia gravis, as well as lupus nephritis.
