Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BRL-501 is an investigational anti-PSMA (prostate-specific membrane antigen) chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy under development by BRL Medicine. It is designed to target and eliminate PSMA-positive tumor cells, which are commonly found in prostate cancer. As a cell therapy, BRL-501 genetically engineers autologous T cells to express a CAR specific for PSMA, enabling the immune system to better recognize and attack cancer cells. It is being developed primarily for the treatment of prostatic cancer and is currently in clinical development, with its highest phase of development reported as clinical.
