Overview

BRL03 is an engineered T cell receptor (TCR) therapy developed by Biosyngen for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including lung cancer and gastric cancer. It is a fourth-generation TCR-T cell therapy that involves isolating a patient's T-cells, genetically modifying them to target specific tumor antigens, and then infusing them back into the patient. The drug leverages Biosyngen’s proprietary IDENTIFIER platform for discovery and optimization of TCR therapies. Preclinical and early clinical studies have demonstrated promising safety and preliminary efficacy in EBV-positive advanced solid tumors. As of early 2024, BRL03 has received IND approval from both the US FDA and China’s NMPA to begin Phase I/II clinical trials targeting various advanced solid tumors.
