Broadly neutralizing anti-enterovirus monoclonal antibodies represent an investigational class of immunotherapies designed to target and neutralize multiple clinically relevant enterovirus serotypes. The Academisch Medisch Centrum planned an exploratory, non-therapeutic human donor study ('Isolation of broadly neutralizing anti-enterovirus antibodies from healthy adult donors') to collect blood from healthy adults, measure serum neutralizing antibody titers, and isolate B cells producing these broadly neutralizing antibodies. However, the registered study status was updated to 'will not start', and no specific clinical-stage monoclonal antibody candidate has been advanced under this program.
