Bronchogen is a synthetic tetrapeptide bioregulator (Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu) designed to support respiratory and lung health[4][6]. It acts by stabilizing DNA and modulating transcription factor activity in bronchial and lung tissues, enhancing cellular repair, reducing inflammation, improving surfactant production, and restoring epithelial integrity[2][4][5][6]. Developed primarily for prevention and adjunctive therapy of chronic bronchopulmonary diseases such as chronic bronchitis, COPD, and asthma, Bronchogen helps reduce coughing, bronchospasms, and supports immune defense in the lungs[1][2][3][5]. Its geroprotective properties may mitigate age-related decline in lung function, enhance resilience to environmental stressors, and modulate local immune responses (e.g., boosting secretory IgA levels)[4][5]. There are no significant side effects or addiction reported, but use during pregnancy or lactation is contraindicated.
