Overview
Brozopentyl Sodium (BZP) is a novel pharmaceutical agent under development for the treatment of ischemic stroke. Preclinical pharmacological studies have shown promising results, leading to its first-in-human investigation. The drug is administered via intravenous infusion and has demonstrated a good safety profile, tolerability, and predictable pharmacokinetic characteristics in healthy volunteers. It has a bioactive metabolite, BNBP.
