Overview

BRY805 is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the C-type lectin-like type II transmembrane protein NKG2A (CD94/NKG2A heterodimer complex). By blocking the interaction between NKG2A and its ligand HLA-E, BRY805 acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, releasing inhibition on natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ T cells to enhance their antitumor activity. Preclinical studies have shown that BRY805 has high specificity for NKG2A, does not bind to the activating receptor NKG2C, and demonstrates superior tumor control compared to monalizumab in mouse models. It also exhibits synergistic effects when combined with PD-L1 monoclonal antibodies. The drug is being developed primarily for advanced solid tumors and is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials in China[1][3][5][6].
