BRZ-201 is an mRNA-based cancer vaccine being developed by BreezeBio (formerly GenEdit). The therapeutic utilizes the proprietary NanoGalaxy® platform, which employs Hybrid Nanoparticles (HNPs) to deliver mRNA encoding specific tumor antigens directly to antigen-presenting cells (APCs). This delivery mechanism is designed to stimulate the immune system to mount a targeted T-cell response against cancer cells expressing the encoded antigens. BRZ-201 is currently in the lead optimization stage of preclinical development, representing a next-generation approach to cancer immunotherapy that aims to improve the precision and efficacy of mRNA delivery compared to traditional lipid nanoparticle systems.
