**BSA-PEG-FA-NRG** is an experimental folic-acid-decorated, polyethylene-glycol-modified bovine serum albumin nanoparticle formulation encapsulating the flavonoid **naringenin**. It was reported as an in vitro anticancer nanocarrier for breast cancer cells, designed to improve naringenin delivery and cellular activity. The approximately 205 nm particles achieved reported naringenin encapsulation of 84% and folic-acid surface binding of 75%; in breast cancer-cell experiments, the formulation inhibited cell viability, increased the SubG1 cell population, and was associated with increased caspase-3, caspase-8, and caspase-9 expression, consistent with apoptosis induction. It is a preclinical research formulation rather than an approved medicine.
